Complaint

When you shop at bastdesign.dk, you of course have 24 months right of complaint. This means that you can either get the item repaired, exchanged, the money back or the price reduced, depending on the specific situation.

We would like to point out, however, that our goods are made of pure natural materials, and that when purchasing, it is therefore also accepted that the goods may vary from one another, may differ from image material and may change expression and glow over time. Read more about maintenance and patination here.

Bastant always checks items before they are shipped. Goods that are returned due to a complaint, and where we find the complaint reasonable, will either be repaired or replaced with a new delivery within 7 days of receiving the returned item. If we do not have the replacement item in stock, we will return the amount to your bank account within 7 days. It is of course a requirement that the complaint is justified and that the defect did not arise as a result of incorrect use of the product or other damage-causing behaviour.

You must advertise within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered the lack of the item. If you complain within two months of the defect being discovered, the complaint will always be timely.

You must contact us in advance with your complaint at info@bastantdesign.dk, so that we can send you a return label, as we will of course bear the costs in connection with a complaint. When you write to us, please state what the problem is in as much detail as possible.

We do not accept packages sent by cash on delivery or the like, and the item must always be sent back in proper packaging.

The Purchase Act's defect rules may apply to the purchase of goods. If you wish to complain about your purchase, you must write to us at info@bastantdesign.dk. If we do not succeed in finding a solution, you can lodge a complaint with the Consumer Complaint Board www.kfst.dk , if the conditions are met. If you are a consumer residing in another EU country, you can register your complaint in the EU Commission's online complaint platform, which you can find here .
