Our journey from a functional idea to a full-fledged business has now taken a huge step forward, and it is with great pride that we can share with you that handmade, Danish-produced design also has its justification on Denmark's largest entrepreneurial stage, Løvens Hule. Standing in front of the sharp investors in the cave was an experience we will never forget, and we are incredibly proud of the result we got from there.
From a runny nose to an investment in the Lion's Den
What does a completely ordinary everyday situation have to do with Danish design? Much more than you might think! At Bastant Design, it all started with an annoying kitchen roll holder and a runny nose – and now it has led to an investment in Løvens Hule. Martin was tired of an old kitchen roll holder that always tipped over, and so he made his own beautiful and functional holder that can be operated with one hand without tipping over. That was the starting point for Bastant Design, and precisely by focusing on functional and aesthetic design in brass and steel that will last for generations, we have convinced Tahir Siddique and Morten Larsen that Bastant Design is the interior of the future.

Several of the many requests from customers will be translated into new designs, and the range will be expanded, so that even more people can enjoy authentic Danish blacksmithing.
