Some rooms in the home tend to get overlooked. The bathroom is one of them. It needs to function, but that's rarely where we start when we think about changes in the home. For blogger Frejamay, however, it was the bathroom that needed an upgrade – and with a few, well-chosen changes and hand-picked products, she created a completely new atmosphere. A small transformation that had a big impact.
Small details. Big change.
From the first glance at the new bathroom, you can feel the calm. The muted colors, the soft transitions, the perfect tone-on-tone atmosphere and, not least: the elegant brass details. Because when Frejamay decided to upgrade her bathroom, it wasn't about replacing everything – but about choosing carefully. Every detail had to make sense, both visually and practically. Every thing had to have a function and an aesthetic that would last.
Brass bathroom details
And so the choice fell on products from Bastant Design. Among other things, the handmade toilet roll holder in solid brass , which was the starting point for the entire transformation. With its robust shape, beautiful surface and discreet luxury, it quickly became a supporting element for the common thread in the room. A design that not only works in everyday life – but also feels nice to the touch and beautiful to look at.
Frejamay says that her old toilet roll holder had been broken for years. It wasn’t something she thought much about – but it was annoying every time. So it felt special to replace the old solution with a product that was both practical, stylish and well thought out down to the smallest detail.
The makeover quickly took hold. Because when one detail gets a boost, the rest will follow. With the elegant brass hooks and the simple towel holder, Frejamay completed the look and created a harmonious whole – still with a personal touch and lots of warmth.
Luxury in the bathroom
The color choice on the walls, ceiling and interior was toned down and subdued – everything painted in the same tone, so that peace could find space. The result is a space that invites breaks, for peace, for everyday luxury and presence. A space where all surfaces, colors and functions play together. A space that reflects both aesthetics and needs. As Frejamay himself writes: “It should be a sensory haven.”
